BASIC EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE

Chocolate cake yum, childhood memory, young age temptation, old age desire means every age favourite so I think to write something on this, But I am a vegetarian J, so today I am sharing egg less wheat cake recipe.
I have tried this at my home several times and it’s very soft and moist.

TIMES REQUIRE:
PREP TIME:  10 mins
COOK TIME:  35 mins
TOTAL TIME:  45 mins
SERVES: 4-5

INGREDIENTS: 
For the cake:
One cup whole wheat flour/atta
Three tbsp cocoa powder
½ tbsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
¾ cup sugar
One cup cold water
¼ cup oil or melted butter
One tbsp lime juice
½ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla powder

For the cocoa frosting:
Two tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
Four tbsp cocoa powder
Three tbsp milk
Four tbsp sugar or add as required


INSTRUCTIONS:
For the cake:
Grease a baking pan with oil. preheat your
oven to 200 degrees Celsius/392 degrees Fahrenheit.
Strain one cup whole wheat flour, three tbsp cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, ½ tsp baking soda in a plate.
In another bowl, take ¾ cup sugar and add into one cup cold water. Stir it until sugar get dissolves. Then add ¼ cup oil or melted butter. Stir briskly so that everything is mixed well.
Next add one tbsp lime juice/ same quantity of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar and stir.
Now add ½ tbsp vanilla extract or powder.
Add the strain dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Mix everything well using a wired whisk. There   should be no lumps in the cake batter. the batter is not thick but thin.
Pour the cake batter in the prepared cake pan. Tap the sides of the cake pan so that the extra air bubbles are let out.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven for 200 degrees Celsius/392 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 mins.
For baking in a convection mode of microwave oven, preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius/356 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. then bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius /356 degree Fahrenheit for the 30 to 35 minutes.
Use knife to check the cake cook well or not, it should come out clean.
If the knife is sticky, then place the cake bake in the oven and continue to bake for some more minutes.
The cake should be cool completely before frosting.

For the frosting:
Take two tbsp butter and four tbsp sugar in a saucepan.
Heat and melt the butter.
Also the sugar should dissolve.
Once the sugar has dissolved switch off the stove top.
The sugar should be just dissolved.
We don't need to cook the sugar in its various stages.
Next add four tbsp cocoa powder.
With a spatula stir so that the cocoa powder gets mixed evenly with the butter-sugar mixture.
Add three tbsp milk, Stir well and cocoa frosting is ready.
Now, until this is hot either you can spread the frosting on the top of cake , around the sides of cake or make round in centre and fill with frosting
Use a dome shape bowl to cover the cake and keep it in the fridge for the frosting to set.  
When frosting set, cut into slices and serve.
If you want you can strain some icing powder before serving.
